Porrusalda / Leek Soup

 

Ingredientes para 2 raciones: ·       3 patatas medianas ·       1 puerro grande ·       2 zanahorias ·       Media cebolla ·       Agua (1litro aprox.) ·       Sal ·       Pimienta ·       Aceite de oliva ·       1 pastilla de caldo vegetal

Ingredients for 2 portions: ·       3 medium potatoes ·       1 big leek ·       2 carrots ·       Half onion ·       Water (1litre approx.) ·       Salt ·       Pepper ·       Olive oil ·       1 vegetable stock cube

 

 

¡Cocinemos!

1. Pelamos las patatas y las cortamos en cachelos. Lavar y reservar.
2. Cortamos la media cebolla en tiras.
3. Cortamos las zanahorias y el puerro en rodajas. Lavar y reservar.
4. Calentamos el aceite y rehogamos todas las verduras juntas 3-4 minutos.
5. Añadimos mitad del agua, la pastilla de caldo de verduras, 3 pizcas de sal, pimienta y cubrimos con el resto del agua. Tapamos y dejamos que se cocine 20 minutos.
6. Destapamos, apagamos el fuego y dejamos en el calor 10 minutos.
7. Servir y ¡COMER!

Let’s cook!

1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into big pieces. Wash and set aside.
2. Cut the half onion intostrips.
3. Cut the carrots and the leek into slices. Wash and set aside.
4. Heat the oil and saute all veggies together 3-4 minutes..
5. Add half of the water, vegetable stock cube, 3 pinches of salt, pepper and the other half of water. Cover and let it cook 20 minutes.
6. Uncover, turn off the heat and let it rest 10 minutes.
7. Serve and EAT!
